Biography

Kevin O’Neill earned his Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree from McGill University in 1986. Kevin is a member of Professional Engineers Ontario, and has been practicing professional engineering since 1988.
Kevin has over 30 years of progressively responsible experience in the construction industry as design engineer, site engineer, project manager and business development professional in various construction settings. His career has been focussed on the construction of new commercial, institutional and industrial buildings across North America.

Kevin has taken the lead role in numerous assignments in the areas of transportation, tunneling, rail and energy infrastructure. He has been retained by counsel to prepare expert reports for use in ongoing legal matters. These range from assessment of backcharges against a small glazing subcontractor to full evaluation of proposals submitted for a major rooftop solar photovoltaic power plant project in Ontario, for which he has given testimony and been crossed-examined in Ontario Superior Court.

In addition to his work in claims preparation and defense, Kevin is also the Operations Director for Driver Trett Canada Ltd., overseeing the work of the Toronto office.
